Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Ninetile: the token API, the recognition API, the dashboard and anything else we operate under ninetile.io.
Last updated 4 November 2026
1. The agreement
By creating an account, using an API key, or calling any Ninetile endpoint, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind that company, and “you” means the company.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for everything done through your account and your API keys, including by anyone you give a key to.
- One human, one account. Do not create accounts to evade a suspension, a spend limit, or a free allowance.
- Keep keys secret. A key is shown once and stored only as a hash, so we cannot recover one. If a key leaks, revoke it in the dashboard immediately.
- Accurate details. Use an email address you control; that is how we reach you about billing or abuse.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 18.
3. Billing
Ninetile is prepaid. You add balance before you use it, and each request is charged from that balance. There are no plans, subscriptions or minimums.
- Prices. $0.75 per 1,000 tokens and $0.30 per 1,000 recognitions, as shown on the pricing section of the site and in the dashboard. Prices are in US dollars.
- What is charged. A token request is charged only when it returns a token. A recognition is charged only when it returns an answer. Failed, cancelled and expired requests cost nothing, which is why we do not refund successful ones.
- Holds. Starting a request reserves its price. The hold is released if the request does not succeed, so your available balance reflects work actually in flight.
- Top-ups are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, and they do not expire. Balance is a credit against future use, not a deposit you can withdraw. The full detail is in our Refund Policy.
- Taxes. Prices exclude any tax that applies to you; you are responsible for it.
- Chargebacks and fraud. We may suspend an account for a reversed payment, a fraudulent top-up or abusive refund behaviour, and may offset the balance accordingly.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Ninetile only for lawful purposes and only on sites and services you are entitled to automate.
You are responsible for how you use the output. We return a token or an answer; we do not know what you do with it and we do not verify that you have permission to use it on a given site. You confirm that you have the right to access any target you point us at, and that doing so does not breach that target’s terms or any law that applies to you.
You must not:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to access systems you are not authorised to access;
- attack, overload, probe or attempt to bypass the service’s limits, authentication or rate limiting;
- resell, sublicense or white-label the service without a written agreement with us;
- reverse engineer the service, or attempt to extract models, prompts or infrastructure, except where that restriction is unenforceable by law;
- use the service to build a competing solver, or to train a competing model on our output;
- interfere with other customers, for example by exhausting shared capacity deliberately or by traffic intended to degrade the service.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these rules. Where the breach is serious or ongoing, we may do so without notice. Balance on an account terminated for a breach may be forfeited where the law allows.
5. Availability and support
The service is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise a particular uptime, latency or throughput, and capacity is finite and shared. During maintenance, when capacity is exhausted, or when a proxy pool is depleted, requests may be refused or delayed; a request that does not succeed is not charged.
Not every challenge type can be solved. When we cannot solve one, you get an error and no charge. Support is available at support@ninetile.io; we do not offer a contractual response time unless we have agreed one with you in writing.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Ninetile is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, including claims from a target site you pointed us at.
7. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time and may ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end the agreement if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to serve you would put the service or other customers at risk.
Amounts already charged are not refunded on termination; unused balance is handled as described in section 3.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A material change is announced on this page with a new date, and where practical we email the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ninetile is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.

Note. This page describes the service as it actually operates today. It is a template, not legal advice; have a lawyer in your jurisdiction review it before you rely on it, particularly the governing-law clause in section 8.
